Sunrise View from the Canyon Rim Trail | Southern Idaho Landscape Fine Art Print

from $75.00

Horizontal orientation.

The Canyon Rim Trail in Twin Falls follows the south side of the Snake River for about 7 and a half miles, eventually descending into the Shoshone Falls City Park. It is a favorite of mine to walk or ride with my camera bag, because the views are stunning, especially during sunrises and sunsets. On the morning of the last day of February 2026, I went for a ride along the trail, and as the sun was rising in the east it lit up the sky to the west with pastel pinks, yellows, and oranges. There were very few people out, and very little traffic, as the temperatures before sunrise were still freezing, but I bundled up and enjoyed a very brisk ride for about half the length of the trail. I'm a little out of shape, so stopping to take some photos gave me a much-needed breather, and a chance to enjoy the peace and calm of the morning for a few minutes before diving into a busy day. What a blessing to be able to use this trail as often as we would like to here in Twin Falls!
