Rudolf Kunze Barn in Rural Buhl | Southern Idaho Landscape Fine Art Print
Horizontal orientation. Images include an optional barn wood frame created by the photographer, making this print truly unique and one-of-a-kind. Available also as a print only, in three optional sizes and materials.
The Rudolf Kunze barn, built in the early 1900s, stands as one of few remaining early 20th century barns in Idaho. Located on the rural outskirts of Buhl, this view can be seen from the roadway heading south. The barn is in despair, as are the grounds that it stands on, but on the evening that this image was captured, the setting sun caught the wild sunflowers along the fence line and fell nicely on the barn and surrounding buildings. The wild sunflowers and other wildflowers dressed up the weeds somewhat, making a magnificent foreground for the beautiful old barn. I have tried on several occasions to photograph this barn without much success, but on that evening the elements fell together to make a nice composition, and the result is an image that I am quite happy with.
