The temples of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints are built to the highest standards of architecture and construction and are each a beautiful work of art. They are one of my favorite photography subjects because they are lighted beautifully at night, and are magnificent at sunrise, sunset, or even at midday. The Rexburg Temple is situated near the BYU-Idaho University campus, visible from many places on the campus. In July 2021, my family traveled to Idaho Falls to visit family, and as my wife and I attended the college there when it was Ricks College, we made a visit to see the campus. There were of course many changes on the campus, since this temple was not built yet when we attended. We walked and reflected together on these new additions and happened to come across a garden area with daisies lit well under a parking lot streetlamp. My wife first noticed the view and took a few images with her phone while I was getting my camera equipment ready. The light from the streetlamp was just perfect as it fell on the daisies in the foreground, and the almost completely dark night sky made a magnificent blue backdrop for the scene.
