Red Barn | Western Washington Landscape Fine Art Print
Horizontal orientation.
I passed this fantastic old red barn on a drive to Enumclaw Washington one summer morning while visiting family in Kent. It was worth pulling over and backing up to get a few photos. I had driven along the Green River in Auburn, looking for opportunities to shoot farms and barns in the morning mist. Much of the mists were gone by this time, but the wildflowers were in full bloom, and the lighting was perfect for a few shots. This is a very typical style for barns in the area, which gets a lot of rain throughout the year. On the morning that I took this photograph, everything was still and peaceful, in stark contrast to the busy highway a couple of miles away. I just took some time to soak in the peace and quiet and capture the beauty of the barn and surroundings.
