Ginger and Fox | Southern Idaho Landscape Fine Art Print
This canvas print, framed in a barn wood frame with the original red and white paint sealed with a protective finish created by the photographer, is truly unique and one-of-a-kind. Available also as a print only, in three optional sizes and materials.
This image of my brother-in-law’s horses out to pasture in the canyon is from one of my earliest photo walks. We visited his property on Rimrock in Ammon, which overlooks all of the Idaho Falls area from the foothills. His horses were able to roam the canyon freely, and I spent a couple of hours out walking the property and taking photos of everything from blooming cactus plants to the horses grazing among the sagebrush. This capture of Ginger took some patience, waiting for her to look up from grazing to look at the camera. Grateful for the brief pose, I had this image printed on canvas and put it in one of the first frames that I ever built, from some hefty old oak from a red barn that I purchased from a crafter in Buhl. I gave the first print to my brother-in-law, who has it hanging in his office.
