Canyon Rim Trail Sunset | Southern Idaho Landscape Fine Art Print
Horizontal orientation. Images include an optional barn wood frame created by the photographer, making this print truly unique and one-of-a-kind. Available also as a print only, in three optional sizes and materials.
August can be dreadfully hot in Twin Falls, but with occasional thunderstorms that give some temporary relief from the heat. My wife and I love walking the Canyon Rim Trail on summer evenings, and this particular evening was very pleasant after some warm rain. We had parked at the shopping center just visible on the horizon on the left, and as the sun was setting, we were passing the magnificent rocks shown in the foreground. Small puddles remained from the rain, and I stepped off the trail to get a better perspective of the crags in the basalt along the canyon rim, with the Perrine Bridge in the distance. The golden glow of the setting sun warmed the entire scene and filled us with peace and contentment as we enjoyed the gorgeous evening.
