Wild Roses and Waterfall | Southern Idaho Landscape Fine Art Print

from $15.00

This print, framed in a natural barn wood frame with only a clear protective finish created by the photographer, is truly unique and one-of-a-kind. An additional image shows the framed print hung on a wall with other furniture, to give a sense of size and scale of the finished artwork. Available also as a print only, in three optional sizes and materials.

This gorgeous little waterfall in Rock Creek Park in Twin Falls flows only in the spring and dries up completely each summer. One mid-May evening, I walked the trail in the park looking for scenes that I could shoot and ran across this waterfall with wild roses in bloom in front of it. As beautiful as the scene was, I could not get close enough to get a good image without climbing through brambles and brush and setting up in a rather precarious position. After encountering stinging nettles, thorns, and wobbly rocks and logs, I was finally able to get a good view and take the image. A slow exposure smoothed out the water, making a spectacular image, perfect for spring in Twin Falls.
