"Twin Lakes" 11x14 fine art paper print framed in a hand crafted barn wood frame
This print, framed in a natural barn wood frame with only a simple white stain finish created by the photographer, is truly unique and one-of-a-kind. An additional image shows the framed print hung on a wall with other furniture, to give a sense of size and scale of the finished artwork. Available also as a print only without frame, in three optional sizes and materials.
The Twin Lakes along the Alice-Toxaway Loop provide an excellent view of Idaho's El Capitan peak. In this image, purple penstemon and pink heather adorn the foreground. The views all along the trail are spectacular, but this view caught my eye, even though I planned to hike much further that day. I wasn't sure if I had made the right decision to complete the 20-mile loop in one day, so I knew I couldn't linger too long an any one spot. However, I spent a few minutes just taking in this beautiful view before continuing up the mountain. I hiked the entire loop, and made it back to my car at about 6:00 in the evening, so it was a long but worthwhile hike.
