"Old Outbuildings in Hagerman" 12x18 canvas print framed in a hand crafted barn wood frame
This print, framed in a natural barn wood frame with only a light antique white stained finish created by the photographer, is truly unique and one-of-a-kind. An additional image shows the framed print hung on a wall with other furniture, to give a sense of size and scale of the finished artwork. Available also as a print only without frame, in three optional sizes and materials.
While photographing the old Owsley Bridge during a spectacular sunrise on October morning, I happened to see these old outbuildings on the hill above the bridge. The sun was almost cresting the horizon, and the clouds reflected all sorts of shades of red, purple, orange, and yellow. I had spent an hour or so photographing the sunrise on and around the Owsley Bridge, and was about to hike down river when I saw the sheds, so I took a few minutes to capture these, and was very pleased with the images! Sometimes, when I am at such a beautiful location and finding magnificent scenes, I tend to overlook some of the more simple scenes, which nearly happened on this particular morning as well. The old buildings among the fall yellows and browns look magnificent against the sunrise colors. I have returned to this site several times again, but never have I seen these in such spectacular light. Sometimes a capture immortalizes a scene that may never look quite the same again, and I feel like I got lucky enough to capture one of these here!
