"Otters at LaPush 2nd Beach, Washington" 12x18 metal print
This 12×18 metal print is available in three optional sizes and materials.
Several years ago, I convinced my wife to camp overnight on the sand at LaPush Second Beach in Washington. She isn't a camper, but she loves the ocean, and we had a great time! While exploring the beach, I stumbled across some tide pools where several otters were playing. They didn't seem to mind that I was watching, and luckily, I had a 300mm lens with me. I watched them play and must have taken 50 photos. I had not seen otters anywhere other than in a zoo before, and seeing them in their natural habitat, happy as can be, was quite a treat. I very much enjoyed photography at the time, but my photos just sat on my hard drive and were never shared or seen by anyone other than my wife. In the past year my wife convinced me to print some of my photos and offer them for sale, so while I was scanning photos I have taken over the years, I ran across these again, and the memories came flooding back of the sunset on the beach, and all the fun exploring we did out there. I hope this brings my viewers some of the joy I experienced photographing these otters so many years ago!
